For those of you who know Tae, we all thought this day would NEVER come. Since day one, Tae has always talked about how he wanted me to pop the question. Although I love him, I was not going to be the one to ask. To say I was surprised is an understament...I was shocked!! The crazy part about all of this is that I planned my own engagement. I had been in California days before the engament on a trip with my parents and kids to visit Disneyland. Tae was not able to go becuase of work so on his day off he met me out there for a day. As we planned the one day we would have together we wanted to do something fun and spontanious so I planned a sunset helicopter ride. As I look back on the day, I should have know something was up. I had recieved numerous calls fom my family worried about if Tae had made it and what we were doing. I think Lex (Tae's fraternity brother) called Tae every hour to give him the bro talk. I rememeber getting ready at the hotel and the helicopter company had called and said that we were going to have to cancel or move the ride up becuase of the fog. I was good with canceling the ride, I was just happy to be spending a day with him. He on the other hand, refused to cancel the ride (that should have been another hint) so we rushed to the spot. The ride was beautiful, it took us along the coast and showed us the beautiful scenery of California. Once the ride was over and we arrived back at the spot, I thought the gentelman was going to take a picture of us but all along he was recording Tae on a knee asking me if I would spend the rest of my life with him. Yes, my initial answer was, "are you serious?" but of course I said yes!!! 

Ok family and friends this is how this all transpired. I was serious about her asking the Big Man to propose and of course that was a huge FAIL and I enjoyed how family and friends debated with me and argued, especially my mother-in-law who hated the idea and would get so upset at me. So I hit my twin up and told him I was gonna pop the question and he said, "you got balls she is perfect and what took you so long." I then joined forces with a couple of my Frat brothers who helped me in the journey and process of ring shopping. Vanessa is very smart and an investigator so finding out what she prefers as far as a diamond preference ,I couldnt give the plan up that easy. So like Vanessa I had to make the ring and event rare and special, so a couple of my cousins helped research rings and sent me over a few ideas, I thanked them but they where to like all I seen so I through a Idea out there and researched Rare diamonds and not prefferable. I came up with the black Diamond in a Rose Gold crown the meaning expressed who she was, a rare rose with the strength and value to me as gold and polished shine as the ROCK!!!!!!!!! So I had to make the plan full proof and swore the Team to secracy and get her with The element of suprise, she knew I worked long hours and valued anytime we had with the family so she planned a Helicopter ride of the coast with our love for the ocean and Gods beautiful sunset the plan was full proof, My brother in Law kept her off the scent of anything so upon arrival we got to it and went to the helicopter ride time was of the Essence, so every window I had I had to communicate it to the helicopter crew and not to blow it. Upon entry of the helicopter the damn ring fell out my pocket. I panicked and hoped she didnt see but so enthused by the moment she didnt. after the Ride the Pilot was intructed to take my phone.. So there Vanessa got out the Helicopter and as she came around to me the Big Guy grabbed Her Hand and asked her if she would mind spending the rest oof her life with the big fella. In AWE all she could say was are you serious.... In my mind I said Hell no she bet not say NO!!!!!! and I put the ring on her finger and hugged me big and gave me a kiss so really I dont even know if she said YES, maybe I should follow up with that.... Fom here on History will be Made and she will Become Miss Jackson....My grandma has to hand that SHIT OVER BECAUSE. FROM THE LOVE SHE GAVE US UNCONDITIONALLY , I MAY BE ON TO SOMETHING WITH THIS SPARK PLUG THAT IS DERIVED FROM MY RIB...............
