Kiwana has known Jade her whole life, most times better than her parents, being her bigger sister and all. Even with these two being over 300 miles apart, if one feels something or goes through anything, so does the other.  Kiwana and Jade are the "yaya sisters", yin and yang. Kiwana has and continues to be a HUGE inspiration in her little sister's life, motivating her to always strive for success and accepting Jade for whom she has grown to be. Godmommy, to each others children- there isn't anything these two wouldn't do for each other. 

In 2004, Jade was the maid of honor in Kiwana's wedding, Kiwana is hesistant yet happy to give her "first born"/little sister away, afterall, she knows Jade is in good hands, having known the groom, Darryl for 20 years. 

Jade has known Aisha for fourteen years. She's one of her longest known and closet friends. During this time, Jade never had to question Aisha motives. Aisha is one of those people who will either be hot or cold- she's honest and you will always know where she is coming (which Jade adores). She is Jade's turn up, shade throwing, vogue dancing partner in crime. 

Janyce... Jade absolutely LOVES her!

That is my first thought when her name is brought up. She is one of the first people Jade could call when Jade needs to get a job done or when she is bouncing off the walls and need a little sensibility. Jade and Janyce first met in High School, at Benjamin Banneker Academy for Community Development but they did not get to know each other until they reacquainted in college at Virginia State University. Jade is beyond happy VSU and The T.R.U.E. Foundation, Inc. brought them together. 

Where do we begin... Jade and Eboni have so many memorable moments together. They met Summer of 2006, as freshmen at Virginia State University- they were literally each other's first friends there. Eboni has been there for numerous milestones in Jade's life, so of course she had to continue the ritual.

Kimora, that's what Jade likes to call her when they are "acting up". 

Kadian and Jade, another pair that met in 2006 at Virginia State University. They both joined The T.R.U.E. Foundation, Inc. together in 2007 and have been bonded since. At one point you couldn't find Kadian without Jade or vice a versa. Often called "double trouble" by their peers- they are definitely partners in crime.

Jade and Soraya met 28 years ago-their mothers are sisters, she's actually like another sister to Jade. Soraya and Jade lived close in proximity, attended High School (Benjamin Banneker Academy for Community Development) together and experienced some of their "first" milestones alongside one another. Even though Soraya is older, Jade has always been protective of her, running to fight all her battlers, literally. Her sweet, laughable personality balances Jade's assertive nurturing nature. 

Jade and Brianna are cousins, Brianna's father is Jade's uncle. Brianna is one of Jade's biggest cheerleaders and Jade considers Brianna her little sister. Jade knew exactly how much Brianna loved her big cousin, when Jade graduated VSU, Brianna put her name on her nails, displaying just how proud she was of Jade. Brianna is a senior in HS and plans on attending college, hopefully Virignia State University as well. FAMILY FIRST!

Jade's little Girl Scout cookie selling, athletic sport playing niece. Jade has literally watched Zhaniya grow from infant to present pre-teen. She's grown to be an amazing beautiful young lady. Zhaniya and Jade have always been family but now they will all have matching last names. 

Darryl and Deandre have known each other for 19 years- Deandre is Darryl's youngest, his little prodigy. Darryl was excited to find out Deandre was entering the world. Darryl as always been a role model for Deandre, him learning about life through his older brother, Darryl always kept Deandre under his wing.
