Is there a dress code? 

Island attire is encouraged! Be comfortable, be beachy, flip flops are absolutely okay since our ceremony will be sea side.

 

Any other special attire notes we should know? 

It can get a bit chilly in the evening, so we'd recommend a jacket or a wrap.

 

What will the weather be like this time of year?

The beautiful coast of Punta Cana during February can reach daily temperatures ranging from mid-high 80°F and nightly temperatures ranging from 72-75°F. The perfect weather for a sunset wedding!

 

Does your wedding have a theme?

Our once-in-a-lifetime love story was made possible through our Greek organization, Lambda Tau Omega Sorority, Inc. or the "Mermaids". So to pay homage to the sorority that brought us together, we will have beach, nautical and sea life touches with coral and teal accents!

 

Are there other wedding events I can attend?

Please visit the Schedule of Events section for the most updated list of wedding-related events. The rest of your time in Punta Cana is yours! Can't wait to see you around as we celebrate our marriage!

 

What should I do if I can’t make it?

You will be missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

 

Can I bring a date?

Any additional guests will be considered on a case by case basis. We will try to accomodate plus-ones as best as we can. Please let us know as soon as you do! 

 

Where are you registered?

Your presence is truly a gift! But if you are interested in providing a gift, you can view our Honeyfund and Dreams Honeymoon Registry under the Registry section where you can help us have the honeymoon of our dreams (with a spa date or an excursion!)

 

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #MERMadeToBeMontalvo so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
