Amy- I will never forget the day I met James because it was like something like a fairytale I had never experienced before. Out listening to live music, I noticed this handsome man simlpy couldn't take his eyes off of me the whole night. As flattered as I was, I took some coaxing, certainly not expecting to find the love of my life. James came over, started dancing with me and never left my side for the rest of the evening. As the night came to an end I gave James my phone number, perhaps not expecting to hear from him ever again. Little had I known the impact of our encounter had had on him. James called me early the very next morning...and the next day....and the next day, relentlessly seeking my attention until I finally agreed to go out on a real date with him. No one had ever been so sweet and so persistant with me. I could tell James was a very special man. Over the 1st through the 4th of July 2011, I now know I was spending the first magical moments with the one I will now spend the rest of my life with. This is why we celebrate our love with fireworks on the 4th of July each year, to express our bursting joy and excitement for our life together.
James- I can't tell you what made me go to where I met Amy the night I did except fate. I almost missed my chance meeting her, but a close friend convinced me to go check out the band playing outside before I left. As I did, Amy walked in at roughly the same time and as soon as we made eye contact I knew I could not leave without at least saying that I talked to her. So, I thought I would just go try to dance with her and see what would happen (which never happens because I really can't dance). I remember being so nervous and thinking that this is the one night I needed to boogie, so I gave it all I had. I must have done ok because after a bunch of songs she actually wanted to sit down an just talk. After getting to talk for a while I new right then I needed to see her again. When she finally gave me her number I was so excited, not yet knowing that I had just met my future wife!! I first thing I could do when I woke up was think to myself, "just call her and hope it was actually her number." After a few days of trying we finally went on our first date and the rest is history! I am so excited to get married to her and have her for a wife as she is one of the most life changing people that I have met. We look forward to sharing our wedding experience with all of our wonderfull family and friends!!!

James and I have never been very traditional people. We both love life and keeping life exciting and vibrant. To honor our fun-loving spirits, we could think of no better to join our lives together than by having the destination wedding of a lifetime. We have chosen to take our closest friends and family on an intimate escape to Dreams Punta Cana Resort and Spa where we will take some time out of all our busy lives in the name of love. We are both looking forward to a stress-free wedding experience where we can truly focus on each other most of all. Our small group will be staying for five days in paradise to witness all of the magic and then James and I will be staying an additional 5 days for a true honeymoon experience.
The ceremony will be held under a beautiful gazebo surrounded by pools and lush gardens. Our attire will be casual yet elegant, the men in linen suits and the girls in light, flowy dresses. Perfection! |
