On the evening of Christmas Eve 2012, John decided to propose in the heart of downtown Fort Worth around Susan's closest family and friends. John planned to propose after taking pictures around the gorgeous Christmas decorated places in downtown. The final destination to pop the question (unbeknownst to her) was in front of the Christmas tree. As she waited to have their picture taken (unbeknowst to her), he kneeled down and she said 'Yes'! 

The most memorable memory that night for the bride was how John was so nervous, he slid the ring on the wrong hand!
