Nel and I met at the airport one Labor Day weekend. He was in the tow truck business picking up a tractor that had broken down, and I was picking up some friends from out of town to spend the weekend on South Beach. According to Nelson, I caught his eye and he had to get my number. Lol. When he addressed me it had started to drizzle and I had just blow dried my hair (BIG No No), so I handed him the number, caught up with my friends and took cover. Two months went by and it dawned on me I never heard from the tow truck guy. I was pretty hot then and surely wasn't use to that. Lol. Just kidding. One day I decided to stay home, where I lived with my parents and the phone rang...it was the tow truck guy. :) He stated he's been trying to get a hold of me and some guy would tell him I wasn't home. That guy was my dad. We went on a date soon after, and moved in together two weeks later. We were crazy about each other and honestly still are...so we finally decided to tie the knot. We are pleased to share this special moment in our lives with our closest family and friends and thank you for being apart of it. We love you all. |
