While knowing of each other in high school, Matthew and Ashley did not officially meet until November of 2011. After a brief dating period, Ashley and Matthew made their relationship official on January 15, 2012. 

 

After five years together, Ashley moved in with Matthew.  They've made their home complete with their dogs Bella Jo, Diesel, as well as cats Geno and Fern.

 

Matthew finally popped the question while on vacation in Las Vegas, 2020. Matthew asked Ashley's parents for her hand in marriage before leaving for their trip. Matthew said it's the scariest thing he's ever done.

 

Wanting to celebrate their love, Ashley and Matthew have decided on a close and intimate wedding, inviting immediate family and friends to Dreams Onyx Resort & Spa in Punta Cana. A reception will  follow at a later back home.
