Mike and I met on a building site in November 2006. I had stopped him to ask a question that my limited building skills did not cover. After that I made sure that our paths crossed as often as possible. About a month after we finished the house, the owner's had a post Christmas party and invited all the people who had contributed to the house. Mike and I exchanged phone numbers and eventually set up our first date. It was a Trivia Night at the Pirate's Pub.

This December, three years later, we went snowshoeing out into the National Forest to cut down our Christmas Tree and when we found the right one, Mike proposed. I of course said yes and now we are planning a wedding far away from the snow in Mexico!
